About

Hi there!

Welcome to Leo’s Haus and thank you for looking in.

My name is Mira. I have a wonderful husband, Eric, and a sweet daughter Selah. She has an older brother, Leo, in heaven (that’s where the name of the blog/store came from but more on that later). Here are a few pictures:

he is really tiny but very precious.

I was born in Germany but grew up in Ireland where I met my husband. He was on a missions trip and the rest is history! 😉

My biggest passion is my Savior, Jesus. If you want to know more, please check out Desiring God.

I love to help other mommies (even before I had my own). I was a Doula (helping moms through labor) but that’s not really possible any more with being a full-time mommy;) I also used to be a nanny and looooove children.

My other passion is being a homemaker. That’s how this blog came to be because I want to help other moms who don’t have the time to make their own products! Everything I sell is non toxic.

ALSO, I love to help others save money so I can pass along savings from items that I buy in bulk!

When searching for a name for my blog, I knew I wanted something to remember our son Leo and something to do with my German heritage (I am 100% German). My goal is to sell things that everyone needs for their home so that’s where the German word “Haus” came from: house!

If you want to learn more about living healthy, please check out The Weston A. Price Foundation. We are currently on the GAPS diet to heal our gut.

Again, thank you for stopping by and I look forward to hearing from you!

  1. I love your testimony and how you decided to turn trials and hurts into treasure. Leo would be very happy to know this I’m sure. A friend forwarded me this site and I’m just curious. Any information would be great. I love your love for Jesus too. Talk soon 🙂
